Is there a style of music, an artist, or song that you really like or closely identify with? What is it about that song that you like? What compels you to listen to it? Why do you take notice of it whenever you hear it, no matter where you are and no matter what you’re doing? How does that song make you feel? Where and when did you first hear it?

Write one or two paragraphs about your relationship with your favorite musical style, artist or song, focusing on the questions, above.
