Question: You work for a non-profit concerned with the environmental effects of the use of pesticides in the agricultural industry. In attempting to research which large agricultural industries have been inspected by the Environmental Protection Agency over the last ten years for suspected violations of environmental rules, you call the local EPA office to obtain the information. The EPA agent refuses to answer any of your questions. Are administrative agencies required to release such information? If so, what is the legal approach you should take? If they are not required to release such information, explain why.
