By actively listening we communicate to the other person that what they have to say is important to us. Potential customers often “talk” to us through non-verbal communication. Our own non-verbal communication sends messages to our customers. We may not be face-to-face when trying to communicate with customers. The telephone, email and social media are all ways we communicate.
