1. A divine genderless being called “Euphoria” created a world containing only cats, dogs, and humans in 3 days. According to the sacred writings of the followers of “Euphoria” this occurred 1000 years ago. What idea does this scenario reflect? How and why?

There is a species of bird in which the birds (a) weigh 500 pounds each, (b) have huge wings but cannot fly, (c) have poor vision but can find food with a long, snake-like tongue, (d) always lay 12 eggs but only 1 egg in each batch actually hatches, and (e) are neon orange in color. These birds are so strange and have such specialized characteristics that they could not have just evolved that way by accident. Q3. Earth was once inhabited by gigantic primitive lizards, but a global drought caused them all to die leaving only their bones behind for fossil hunters to find. The lizards were replaced by “more advanced animals” that moved in to take their place. What idea covered in Chapter 1 does this scenario seem to be referring to? Why do you think so? Who is the person associated with the idea?

Q4. On a particular Pacific Island the people started tattooing themselves with elaborate designs that often covered most of the surface of their bodies. When these tattooed people had children their children were born with tattoos that looked like their parents. What idea covered in Chapter 1 does this scenario seem to be referring to? Why do you think so? Who is the person associated with the idea?

Q5. In the Arctic there was a population of rabbits that contained individuals of several different colors – some black, some brown, some gray, and some white. The black, brown, and gray rabbits were killed by predators before they could reproduce in sufficient numbers, and they died out. The white rabbits were camouflaged against the snow so they reproduced more and passed the white coloring on to their offspring. Eventually the entire population was white.
