Part 1 – Short answers (one small paragraph per question is sufficient)

1. What is WBS, and what are steps in completing WBS?
2. Why is WBS important?
3. What is work package, and how is it different from project activities?
4. What is project responsibility matrix, and what are steps in completing project responsibility matrix?
5. What cost and time estimate mean in project management, what are key factors influence cost and time for a project?
6. What is top- down and bottom- up estimating, and provide some examples of ways on how each can be done?

Part 2 – Building WBS, responsibility Matrix and Cost and time estimates for your personal goal /charter

Review the project charter that you developed for your individual goal ( in the previous test)

Develop a workplan that shows:

1. What work packages need to be done?
2. What are the activities within each work package?
3. Who will do each activity (include who will have primary and secondary responsibility)
4. What are the estimated timelines for each work package
5. What is the estimated budget for each work package
6. Aside from budget, what in – kind resources are needed for each work package?
